Precautions before installing the engraving machine

1. Do not install this equipment during lightning or thunder, do not install the power socket in a humid place, and do not touch the uninsulated power cord.
2. Operators on the machine must undergo rigorous training. During the operation, they must pay attention to personal safety and machine safety, and operate the computer engraving machine in strict accordance with the operating procedures.
3. According to the actual voltage requirements of the equipment, if the power supply voltage is unstable or there are high-power electrical equipment around, please be sure to choose a regulated power supply under the guidance of professional and technical personnel.
4. The engraving machine and the control cabinet must be grounded, and the data cable must not be plugged in with power.
5. Operators should not wear gloves to work, it is best to wear protective goggles.
6. The machine body is a part of aviation aluminum casting of steel structure gantry, which is relatively soft. When installing screws (especially when installing engraving motors), do not use too much force to prevent slippage.
7. The knives must be installed and clamped to keep the knives sharp. Blunt knives will reduce the engraving quality and overload the motor.
8. Do not put your fingers into the working range of the tool, and do not remove the engraving head for other purposes. Do not process materials containing asbestos.
9. Do not exceed the machining range, cut off the power when not working for a long time, and when the machine moves, it must be carried out under the guidance of a professional on the spot.
10. If the machine is abnormal, please refer to the troubleshooting chapter of the operation manual or contact the dealer to solve it; to avoid man-made damage.

Four, machine installation
Warning: All operations must be performed under power off! ! !
1. The connection between the main body of the machine and the control box,

3. The power cord plug on the machine body is plugged into the Chinese standard 220V power supply.
4. To connect the control box and the computer, plug one end of the data cable into the data signal input port on the control box, and plug the other end into the computer.
5. Plug one end of the power cord into the power supply on the control box, and plug the other end into a standard 220V power socket.
6. Install the engraving knife on the lower end of the spindle through a spring chuck. When installing the tool, first put a collet chuck of appropriate size in the spindle taper hole,
Then put the tool into the middle hole of the chuck, and use a random small wrench to clamp the flat groove on the neck of the spindle to prevent it from turning.
Then use a large wrench to turn the spindle screw nut counterclockwise to tighten the tool.

Five operation process of engraving machine
1. Typesetting according to customer requirements and design requirements, after calculating the path correctly, save the paths of different tools and save them into different files.
2, After checking the path is correct, open the path file in the engraving machine control system (preview available).
3. Fix the material and define the origin of the work. Turn on the spindle motor and adjust the number of revolutions correctly.
4. Turn on the power and operate the machine.

Six fault analysis and elimination
1. Alarm failure Over-travel alarm indicates that the machine has reached the limit position during operation. Please check according to the following steps:
1.Whether the designed graphic size exceeds the processing range.
2.Check whether the connecting wire between the machine motor shaft and the lead screw is loose, if so, please tighten the screws.
3.Whether the machine and the computer are properly grounded.
4.Whether the current coordinate value exceeds the value range of the software limit.
2. Overtravel alarm and release
When overtravel, all motion axes are automatically set in jog state, as long as you keep pressing the manual direction key, when the machine leaves the limit position (that is, out of the overtravel point switch)
Resume the connection motion state at any time when moving the workbench. Pay attention to the direction of movement when moving the workbench, and it must be far away from the limit position. The soft limit alarm needs to be cleared in the coordinate setting.

Three, non-alarm failure
1. The repetitive processing accuracy is not enough, please check according to the first item 2.
2.The computer is running and the machine does not move. Check whether the connection between the computer control card and the electrical box is loose. If so, insert it tightly and tighten the fixing screws.
3. When the machine cannot find the signal when returning to the mechanical origin, check according to Article 2. The proximity switch at the mechanical origin fails.

Four, output failure
1. No output, please check whether the computer and the control box are well connected.
2. Check whether the space in the settings of the engraving manager is full, and delete the unused files in the manager.
3.Whether the signal line wiring is loose, carefully check whether the lines are connected.

Five, engraving failure
1.Whether the screws of each part are loose.
2.Check whether the path you have processed is correct.
3.Whether the file is too large, the computer processing error.
4. Increase or decrease the spindle speed to adapt to different materials (usually 8000-24000)
! Note: The idling speed of the continuously variable speed spindle used can be in the range of 6000-24000. The appropriate speed can be selected according to the hardness of the material, the requirements of the processing quality and the size of the feed, etc.
Generally, the material is hard and the feed is small. High speed is required when fine carving is required. Normally, do not adjust the speed to the highest to avoid motor overload. 5. Loosen the tool chuck and turn the tool in one direction to clamp.
Put the knife upright, so as not to engrave the object.
6.Check whether the tool is damaged, replace it with a new one, and re-engrave.
! Note: Do not drill holes on the engraved motor casing for marking, otherwise the insulating layer will be damaged. Marks can be pasted when necessary.

Seven, the daily maintenance and maintenance of the engraving machine
The engraving machine system is a type of numerical control system, which has certain requirements for the power grid environment. The power grid where this system is located should be free of electric welding machines, frequently started machine tools, power tools, radio stations, etc.
The strong power grid interference causes the computer and engraving machine system to work abnormally. Maintenance is an important means to ensure the service life of the engraving machine and improve the efficiency of the equipment.
1. In actual use, it can be used normally in accordance with the requirements of operating specifications.
2. Routine maintenance requires that the work surface and equipment be cleaned and refueled after the work is completed every day to avoid unnecessary losses.
3. Regular maintenance is required to be carried out once a month. The purpose of maintenance is to check whether the screws of various parts of the machine are loose, and to ensure that the machine's lubrication and environmental conditions are good.
1. Check the water pipe connecting the main shaft motor and the water pump, turn on the power supply of the water pump, and check whether the water supply and drainage work of the water pump is normal.
2. In order to avoid the abnormal processing caused by the loose or poor contact of the power socket and the product scrapping, please choose a good power socket, which should have a reliable grounding protection.
